“We’re excited to have several cars consigned for our Las Vegas Auction that have a rich celebrity provenance, including a 1994 Mercedes-Benz E420 once owned by one of the greatest crooners of our time, Frank Sinatra.
“There’s something special about owning a vehicle that belonged to a Hollywood actor, musician or childhood hero.”
Among them, a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air retro-mod previously owned by Cage, a 1981 Mercedes-Benz 280 CE formerly owned by actor and comedian Pryor, a rare 1983 Bremen Sebring once owned by Liberace — and with just 1,690 miles — and a 1992 GMC Typhoon Carryall purchased new by actor Bill Bixby, best known for playing Dr. David Banner in the 1970s television series The Incredible Hulk.
Sinatra’s Mercedes actually has dual celebrity provenance, having been later purchased by actress Angie Dickinson, who co-starred with Sinatra in the 1960s movie Ocean’s 11.
Movie cars crossing the block in Vegas include a 1967 Pontiac LeMans custom hardtop that was driven by Samuel L. Jackson in the film XXX: State of the Union, and a 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III used in the movie Casino with Joe Pesci, appearing in the famous “Slide Over, Honey” scene.
